Putu Sudiari founded Santika
Furniture, based in Canggu, North of Kuta, Bali, in 2004. The company is
located in beautiful Canggu, Bali and occupies 500 meter sq of state-of-the-art
manufacturing and office. Santika employs a diverse work force of about 35 team
members to support its operations.
Our primary business is to supply
architects, interior designers and residential clients with all forms and
styles of hand-made furniture, cabinetry or architectural woodwork.
Since its inception, Santika has
supplied good quality custom furniture for villas, cafés and restaurants,
guesthouses, and select corporate environments garnering the respect of leading
architects and designers. The company produces over 20 units of finished
furniture daily and drops/ships them to customers throughout Bali and abroad.
Completing over 2000 projects for clients in Bali and abroad, Santika has
mastered all forms of furniture making from beds, sofas, tables, cabinets,
kitchen sets, lamps, frames, dressers, wardrobes, stools, doors, windows,
and dining tables to richly panelled libraries.
Consisting of a team of roughly 35
people, Santika has built an unequaled reputation for excellence. The company
is known for its complex veneered and inlaid furniture, which spans a spectrum
of periods and styles.
Santika Furniture brings 13 years of
experience in manufacturing furniture products. It is proud of having skilled
and motivated team members who are highly committed to producing quality
products and implementing positive change. Their “do it right the first time”
attitude is matched with the company’s modern equipment to produce WoodMark
Quality certified products with innovative designs. WoodMark is a quality
system designed for the wood products industry, with the emphasis on ensuring
consistent product quality and continuous improvement. This innovative approach
enables Dynamic to significantly increase its efficiency and remain competitive
in today’s ever-changing marketplace.
Putu actively takes part in
furniture making while also directing the work of five senior furniture makers.
Most of the employees have been with the company for over ten years. Each
project is managed on a daily basis by meetings between all members of the shop
every morning. Each senior furniture maker takes only one project at a time,
ensuring that each piece of furniture is guided carefully from the drawing
phase through finishing stages and to the client’s place. She routinely
receives compliments from the clients with respect to her company's
professionalism and craftsmanship.
Santika's clients actively
participate in the ongoing decisions affecting their projects and are
encouraged to visit the shop during the construction phases. Most find this
experience interesting and rewarding.
